Originally from Idaho Falls, Idaho, Marty Yost has appeared in feature films, independent films, prime time television and national commercials. Marty's most noted performances include appearances on the prime time series, CSI: NY, ER, Providence, and JAG. Some of his film work includes appearances in Crash Dive starring Andrew Stevens, Crazy as Hell directed by Eric LaSalle of ER and Far From Bismark directed by Phil Chidel which played at the NY Film Festival. He has worked in national commercials for McDonalds, Coors Light, Verizon, Gatorade, Nascar, Got Milk campaign, and Fox Sports among others.

Being prepared as an actor is Marty's first priority. He has studied at “The Groundlings” (where he completed all levels), Charles Conrad Studios, Larry Moss and Dennis Kelly for scene study and cold reading.

In addition to acting, Marty has been actively engaged in writing projects. He completed his first television script in 2003 entitled, “The Full Nelson” and he is completing his first feature length screenplay entitled, “Marion's Bridge.”
